The Island of Koh Lanta is about 30 km in length and is 5 km wide. On the island is a great atmosphere with friendly local Thai people. There is a National Park with an interesting rainforest where you can hike into the mountains on your own or by elephant!! Experience the tour in the caves or just relax and catch some sun on the beach. Koh Lanta has a wide diversity of restaurants, bars and a great nightlife (for the ones who don’t dive early mornings!)
How to get to Koh Lanta The nearest international airport is Krabi. From Krabi Town, airconditioned minivans will leave at 11 am, 1 pm and 4 pm (in high season every hour). The journey will take around two hours, including two ferries, the price is THB 120 p.p. Note: the minivans can be crowded and noisy! If you book in advance, we can arrange a pick-up that brings you directly from the airport to your accommodation on Koh Lanta. If yoy travel from Bangkok or elsewhere in Thailand, we reccommend to take a VIP coach, a train of plane to Krabi first. Tickets can be booked in nearly every local booking agent on location.
